What is Autism

Autism is a complex neurological disorder with severe language deficits. Individuals with autism have difficulties with maintaining eye contact, learning naturally from others, understanding language, comprehending social rules and may have severe fixation to routines which interfere with life. Autism is a spectrum disorder with some having high or normal IQ's while other having sever difficulties with cognition, learning and other co-morbid problems . No two people diagnosed with autism are alike.
