Dr. Jeeson C Unni is An expert in paediatric and adolescent medicine with more than 31 years of experience. He is the brain behind the IAP Drug Formulary - an Indian Academy of Paediatrics publication that’s considered the Bible of paediatric drug information used by more than 20,000 Paediatricians worldwide. His few highlights are as National Convener - IAP Poor scholastic performance program 2007 & 2011 – Actively involved in IAP advocacy for children with learning disability, Past Secretary and President, I A P, Kerala State Branch, Past Secretary and President, N N F, Kerala State Branch, Past Secretary and Chairperson IAP CMIC, Resource person and Master Trainer for various IAP Action plans, Authored book on ‘Life skills’, Contributed chapters to various pediatric text books, published 50 odd articles.
Dr. Sheffali Gulati has over 17 years post MD teaching / work experience. She has joined AIIMS in 1988 as MBBS student and currently working as Professor, joined as a faculty in July 2000. She is part of the team that started first DM (Pediatric Neurology) course in South Asia. She developed a Neurodevelopmental Screening tool to screen for 10 neurodevelopmental disorders in the community which has undergone validation across 5 sites in the country. The tools thus developed have been incorporated in the National Program: Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram. Sheila Wallace Award by International Child Neurology Association 2014; Fellow IAP, Lifetime Achievement Award, Indian Academy of Pediatrics( Neurology Chapter), October 2014, Fellow, IMSA; Member ICMR Task Force: IEM and Non Polio AFP; National Advisory Board Member, Indian Rett Syndrome Foundation.
Dr. Pratibha Singhi is a popular Neurologist in Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon. She has been a successful Child Neurologist for the last 45 years. She is a qualified Fellow in Fellow in Pediatrics from University of South California, Los Angeles, USA in 1976, M.B.B.S. from JLN Medical College, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in 1973 and MD (Ped.) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 1978. Her specialization is in Dermatologist, Cosmetic/ Plastic Surgeon and Dermatosurgeon. She provides medical services to her patients like: Treatment of Headaches, Treatment of Forgetfulness, Treatment of Epilepsy, Treatment of Nerve Pain, Treatment of Tremors, Treatment of Brain Hemorrhage, Treatment of Neurological Problems, Treatment of Schizophrenia, Treatment of Brain Injury, and Treatment of Spasmodic Torticollis.
Dr. Shekhar P. Seshadri is a Psychiatrist and Adolescent And Child Psychiatrist and has an experience of 36 years in these fields. Dr. Shekhar P. Seshadri practices at National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences Hospital (NIMHANS) in Hosur Road, Bangalore. He completed MBBS from G B Pant Hospital / Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi in 1979 and M.D. (Psychiatry) from National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in 1985. He is widely quoted by the media and has for decades been associated with numerous mental health initiatives.
Dr. Rashmi Adiga joined Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Bangalore as a Consultant Pediatrician and Neurologist in 2017. Dr. Rashmi Adiga has spent over 14 years training and working in the U.K. After qualifying from Bangalore Medical College, she qualified with a D.C.H (Diploma in Child Health) at the Institute of Child Health, Madras and obtained a CCT (certificate of completion of training) in pediatrics, lead for pediatric neurology and epilepsy services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn and Norfolk community Health and Care for 5 years and 11 months before relocating to Bangalore. She has also conducted Neuro Development clinics which included children with ADHD, behaviourial problems, autistic spectrum disorder, neuro developmental problems and physical disability. She is very passionate about teaching and is currently British Pediatric Neurology Association pediatric epilepsy training (PET1) instructor.
Dr. Padma Palvai, MD Psychiatry (USA), Fellowship in Child and Adolescence Psychiatry (USA) Board Certified in Adult and Child Adolescent Psychiatry (USA) Psychiatrist. Dr. Padma Palvai finished her MBBS from Kurnool medical college. Later she moved to the United States of America and did her residency in psychiatry from St. Lukes- Roosevelt hospital center (Columbia University) in New York. She then did a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island (USA). She is board certified (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology) in the speciality of Psychiatry as well as the speciality of child and adolescent psychiatry. She had practiced in the United States for many years. She also served as the Medical Director of the department of psychiatry of Hunterdon Medical Center in New Jersy, USA. She has returned to India 6 years back. Specialists in child and adolescent psychiatry are very rarely available in India. Dr. Padma Palvai has trained in two of the world’s premier institutes and has experience in treating children, teenagers as well as adults. She is well versed in evaluation and treatment of conditions such as Autism, Attention deficit disorder, depression, anxiety and Post-partum depression. Her world class training and extensive international experience gives her the perspective to take care of even the most complicated conditions..Currently she is working with Rainbow hospital ,Hyderabad as a Consultant.
Dr. Himani Narula Khanna is a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician with extensive experience in well and sick care of paediatric patients from newborn to 16+. Dr. Himani is a HMC (Haryana Medical Council) registered Medical Practitioner. She is passionate about her work and has the quality to be able to relate to wide range of patients, parents and staff. Her dream is to have a community which respects equal rights and legitimate Laws to support our special children and their families. She is affiliated with Member Indian Academy of Paediatrics and BFNI (Breast Feeding Network of India). She has expertise in preventive care expert, developmental support care for all babies, behavior problems in early childhood, evaluation of children with development delays and in many more areas of concern.
Dr. Lokesh Lingappa is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Neurologist at Rainbow Children's Hospital, Hyderabad. He completed his medical school from Karnatak Medical College, Hubli, Karnataka. He did his Pediatric Training from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh and trained in neurology (DM Neurology) at National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. He pursued his passion to further pediatric neurology training and completed MRCPCH from UK and was trained at Birmingham Children's Hospital, Frenchay Hospital, Bristol, UK and Bristol Children's Hospital as Fellow in Pediatric Neurology.Dr. Lingappa was awarded the Best Outgoing Neurology Student (Dr Anisya Vasanth Award) at NIMHANS.
Ms. Masilamani a Senior Occupational Therapist, Director at Transition centre for ABA and related services, Chennai is well experienced in paediatric field for more than a decade and also a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (USA). She is the first OT with ABA in India. She is a certified sensory integration therapist from university of southern California (USA). She is well known for treating autistic, hyperactive, mentally retarted, global developmenatal delay, attention deficit disorder, downs syndrome, learning disability, etc.
Dr. Anjali Joshi, Project Director and Faculty Lead at PlayPal India, Setco Foundation. She is an Ex-Associate Professor, O.T. School K.E.M. Hospital and Ex-Director of Occupational Therapy, Ummeed Child Development Center, Mumbai from June 2008 to March 2015. She is active member the editorial board of ‘Annals of International Occupational Therapy, Fellow All India Occupational Therapists Association. She has received SPANDAN award by Ministry of Justice and Social Empowerment for the work in the field of disability. She is volunteering professional for ‘Multi-Agency International, Training and Support’ (MAITS), and WHO Expert advisor for ‘Forum for Autism’ a parent support group for children with autism in India. She is an Expert Adviser, Association for the welfare of mentally handicapped children and visiting consultant and trainer for national and international parents and professionals groups for children with special needs.
Dr. Rajeshwari Ganesh is a trained developmental behavioral pediatrician with more than a decade of experiencein the field of developmental pediatrics. She currently supervises the neuro- developmental follow up program at Surya Hospitals. She also is the Director of intervention services at Surya Child development center Mumbai. She was a fellow in the National University Hospital Singapore in the developmental Pediatrics Unit with her other training experiences include Observrship at hipster hospital Boston affiliated to Havard medical school and port royale hospital Pais Dr. Rajeshwari is clinically certified to administer the ADOS [Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule]. She also administers a wide range of developmental assessment tools which help delineate a child’s neuro-development profile. With the help of these objective assessment tools, she formulates suitable intervention goals for children. Her present research interests include communication challenges in preterm infants and suitable intervention programs for children with autism and other developmental conditions.
Dr. Jai Ranjan Ram An eminent psychiatrist, Dr. Jai Ranjan Ram (Apollo Gleneagles Hospital) at Kankurgachi, Kolkata has been practicing since a while. A recognized name in the field of psychiatry, the doctor has received a lot of appreciation for his contribution to the society. Dr. Jai Ranjan Ram has played a pivotal role in improving the health and well-being of a number of patients facing mental challenges. By developing a doctor-patient relationship, the psychiatrist forges a bond with the patient so as to understand the behavioural pattern of the patient. With a proper study and observation of abnormalities related to the mood, behaviour and cognition, the psychiatrist diagnosis the problem and suggests adequate treatment for the same. The doctor specializes in various sub-specialties which include alcohol de-addiction, drug de-addiction, tobacco de-addiction, depression counselling, psychological counselling, schizophrenia disorder and psychometric tests.
M.V. Patricia Pratheeba is a senior Occupational therapist from Bangalore with experience of over 15 years in the field of Paediatrics. She completed her Bachelors in Occupational therapy from Dr. M.G.R medical University, Chennai and started her work with the Downs Syndrome association of Tamil Nadu. She later established and headed SCOPE rehabilitation centre at SIVA ENT hospital at the aegis of Senior ENT surgeon Dr. M. Kumaresan. She was the Project Director of Meditour India a Medical Tourism initiative which in collaboration with the Govt of Tamil Nadu worked with various other countries to promote medical & healthcare facilities in Tamil Nadu. She was instrumental in establishing a nodal office in the Tamil Nadu tourism department counselling patients and clients who wanted to avail Medical & therapeutic intervention in Tamil Nadu. After moving to bangalore in 2013 she established the Occuaptional therapy Department at Cornerstone Therapy Solutions in Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore. Currently she heads the department of Occupational Therapy at cornerstone.
Dr. Puja Kapur, Pediatric Neurologist with extensive experience in evaluating, diagnosing & treating various pediatric neurological disorder from newborn to 16 years of age. She did her Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology at Jaslok Hospital Mumbai. Dr. Puja is an HMC (Haryana Medical Council) registered Medical Practioner. Her endeavour is to provide optimum care and health to children to develop to their fullest potential. Her vision is to enhance the quality of life of children suffering from neurological diseases. Dr. Puja has completed her post graduation in Pediatrics from Choithram Hospital, Indore, She did an electrophysiology course from Case Western University. She expertise in Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, headache, Behavioral Disorders, Nerve and Muscle Disorder and many more areas of Concern.
Dr. Rakesh Jain, MRCPCH, CCT (Oxford), FRCPCH (UK) is a UK trained and experienced Paediatric Neurologist with over 19 years of experience. He has been working as Senior consultant Paediatric Neurologist at Fortis Hospital for the last 4 years. He has presented his work at many conferences like Pedicon, European Paediatric Neurology,
British Paediatric Neurology and the Royal College of Paediatric & Child Health Conference, to name a few. He is an active member of various international neurology societies. He has been instrumental in initiating various courses on Paediatric Epilepsy and Paediatric EEG in India. Paediatric Epilepsy courses have been conducted at 9 centres across India to train the local paediatrician in collaboration with BPNA, UK.
Dr. Amrita Panda, Ph.D. is a Rehabilitation Psychologist and the Program Head at Pradip Centre for Autism Management, Kolkata . She has been a strong advocate of facing and addressing issues around growing up and sexuality in persons with autism. She has experience of more than 10 years. She has been associated with the Department of Psychology, University of Calcutta for more than 8 years. She is working in the field of Disability Research with a handful of national and international publications as well as holding conference presentations across the continents.
Dr. C.P Ravi Kumar is MBBS, MRCPCH (UK), CCT - Paediatrics, Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology and Epilepsy. He is a Paediatric Neurologist, at Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore, He undertook specialist training in childhood epilepsy and neurology in reputed teaching hospitals in London including Guys and St Thomas Hospital and Young Epilepsy. He underwent training in interpreting EEGs in Cleveland, USA under Professor Hans Lüders. His special area of expertise is in Epilepsy management including Ketogenic diet and Vagal nerve stimulation. Dr. Ravi Kumar compliments his skills in managing common Paediatric problems with specialist skills in complex neurological problems. He is a faculty member for British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) and teaches on Paediatric epilepsy training and Childhood headache training programme.
Dr. Darez Ahamed, IAS, MBBS, is an IAS Officer and Mission Director of the Tamil Nadu State Rural Health Mission. He was honoured by Prime Minister for Excellence in Public Administration for the year 2012-13 for his work in combating female infanticide and improving sex ratio at birth. He graduated in Medicine and in 2005 joined in Indian Administrative Service. His bold initiatives to combat child marriage brought on him the wrath of some Islamic groups. He received Best practices award in 2018 State Health Society for implementation of “TAEI” –Tamil Nadu Accident and Emergency Care Initiative. His services had been recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu with awards conferred by the then Chief Minister during the Collectors' Conferences 2012 and 2013 for Efficient Disposal of Chief Minister's Special Cell Petitions, and best performing Collector in the health sector (2012) and e-governance and special initiatives for the differently-abled (2013) respectively.

Dr. Lina Slim-Topdjian is Founding Executive Director of ASAP – A Step Ahead Program, LLC, since 2004. ASAP is an educational and behavioral consulting clinic that serves children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), and speech-language and behavioral disorders. Dr. Slim is a Certified and Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Doctoral level Board Certified Behavior Analyst, with over 30 years-experience, specializing in the diagnosis and management of children with Apraxia, neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders, and Autism, with a focus on Inter professional Collaborative Practice and Education. Dr. Slim’s professional drive is to impart the knowledge she has gained over the years, and disseminate Evidence-Based Practice and research to new students and growing professionals in the field. She is a strong proponent for empowering parents with the skills necessary to advocate and educate their children.
Dag Stromberg Trains and supervise staff at a habilitation center for young children with autism. He is Develops and implements training programs, quality control and fidelity measures. He teaches at university courses in Behavior analysis, speech-language pathology and psychology. He is President of SWABA (Swedish Association for Behavior Analysis) since Mar 2015. He studied Speech Language Pathalogy at Karolinska Institute, Sweden, 1999. He has presented his papers in many International Workshops at Russia, Paris, Chicago etc., an active member of Professional council of The Autism and Asperger Association in Sweden.
Dr. Bridget A. Taylor received her Psy.D. in 1996 from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a licensed psychologist. In 1988 she co-founded the Alpine Learning Group, and currently serves as CEO. Alpine is a state-of-the art program for individuals with autism that includes a school, home-based services, and adult learning programs. Dr. Taylor’s commitment to the scientist-practitioner model is seen by her publication record of more than 40 peer-reviewed articles and chapters. Her research has shown how to use stimulus control procedures to increase independence and decrease problem behavior, how to arrange observational learning opportunities within a curriculum to maximize learning, and how to more effectively teach social skills. Dr. Taylor recently completed a term as associate editor of the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, and she has served on the editorial boards of Behavior Analysis in Practice and Behavioral Interventions.
Dr. Djea Saravane, MD, PhD is one of the highly specialized experts in integrated medicine & pain in mental health and autism. He completed his medical studies in Paris and is the Director of the National Center for Pain in France, Director of Education at the Faculty of Medecine Paris Sud and an Associate Professor in Sherbrooke University - Canada. Dr. Saravane has created a National Center for integrated medicine and pain for Autism Spectrum Disorders, recognized by the French Government and is currently creating centers all over French Territory to take charge of comorbidities and pain in ASD.

Manoj Sharma is a technocrat and a graduate in Metallurgy Engineering. He has 34 years of experience in the field of Engineering, Marketing and International Trade. Having worked with National & International clients, he started his own small scale manufacturing enterprise in 1991. Manoj has wide knowledge of International trade and marketing and works in close partnerships with firms in Switzerland and Canada. He has travelled widely across the globe and worked closely in European, US and Japanese Markets. He has been associated in the field of Autism from last 6 years, doing social services.

Dr. Smita Awasthi - First Indian BCBA, Founder & Director, Behavior Momentum India
Dr. Smita Awasthi, Ph.D., BCBA, holds a Doctorate in Behavior Analysis and has 34 years of clinical experience, consulting and training more than 6000 people affected by autism and their families across India, Bangladesh, U.K., Oman, U.A.E and Nepal. She is the Founder and Clinical Director of Behavior Momentum India (www.behaviormomentum.com) established in 2010 to provide behavioral interventions. She has worked on capacity building, skilling therapists and mentoring students in latest technologies in autism intervention. She authored several paper and poster presentations in international scientific conferences in the last 14 years and has been an invited speaker at various conferences including ones by Queen's University Belfast and the Panteion University of Athens, Greece. She is the first Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from India and has completed large research studies on inducing first instances of speech in children with autism as part of her Ph.D. dissertation. She is focused on parent empowerment and provides tele-health services to families in remote parts of India. She is the Program Director of the only BACB approved course in behavior analysis in India and has been recognized for her advocacy on evidence based services. Among other awards she also received the Governor's award for dissemination of autism in the State of U.P. in India in 2005 and the SABA award from the Association of Behavior Analysis International, U.S.A.

Sridhar Aravamudhan, B.E., PGDM, M.A, BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) is a mechanical engineering graduate and holds a postgraduate degree in management from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. After working in business development and operations management roles with leading transnational corporations like Pepsico, British Petroleum and Tech Mahindra for 22 years , to help his daughter on the autism spectrum, 8 years ago, he started learning Behavior Analysis. Mentored by Dr. Smita Awasthi, he started as a therapist working with other children with autism, went on to complete a Masters program in Applied Behavior Analysis with Autism Emphasis from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana,United states and became a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Certificant number 1-12-12008 ) in 2012 . He works with Behavior Momentum India ( www.behaviormomentum.com) as a Consultant and Research Associate. He trains therapists and parents and believes that research drives practice excellence. He helps children on the autism spectrum acquire new skills, shapes socially appropriate behaviors and finds effective methods to address challenging behviors. He teaches Applied Behavior Analysis as a faculty in the Board approved course sequence in India to national and international students. His research interests include teaching conditional discriminations, Precision Teaching and articulation training and he has presented several research papers and posters in international and national conferences.
